City Expansion is an essential part of growing your city. By expanding your city, you can have more land to place residential zones and specialization buildings. Each city expansion requires a set dozer wheel, dozer blade, and dozer exhaust items. Depending on where the expansion is in your city, the number of sets required will vary.

Expansion Items can be found in your city by tapping bubbles at level 8. City Expansion begins at level 10. Expansion items can be found in Global Trade starting at level 10. (It is believed that expansion items appear more often for cities under level 12.)
Expansion Deeds will allow you to upgrade a zone for free. For best efficiency, use a deed on the expansion that requires the most items (know which zone this is before acquiring the deed).
Expanding your city[]
The image above shows you how many expansion items are needed (of each type) to upgrade that zone. A total of 872 sets of items (2,616 individual) are needed to completely upgrade your capital city.
