Design Challenges Season 19 started September 9, 2022, and ends October 6, 2022. It is the 6th season to not include Contest of Mayor Season buildings. It is the 16th season to use the Blueprint Exchange reward format. It is the 10th season to have rewards depending on Design Challenge Leagues. This season introduces the Leaderboard along with a new sidebar. It takes 4,500 blueprints to unlock all 3 buildings or 2,000 to unlock Museum of Natural History. This season includes 1 new limited time building and 2 year- round buildings. There were 7 challenges this season. They were Smart City, Night City, Entertainment Capital, Water City, Sports City, City of Bridges and Skyscraper City.
