OMEGA Items are unlocked at Level 30 along with the other OMEGA features in the game. There are 10 different OMEGA Items. These items can be produced by OMEGA Labs or purchased from the NeoMall. They are stored in your OMEGA Storage which is separate from your City Storage. OMEGA Items are used to expand your OMEGA Storage, NeoBank Capacity, Upgrade OMEGA Zones, and can be sold to OMEGA Advisors.
Production[]
OMEGA Lab[]
To produce OMEGA Items, you need to first produce OMEGA Material. OMEGA Material is produced in the OMEGA Lab. You can have up to 10 OMEGA Labs in your city. To produce OMEGA Material you need to have an open OMEGA Lab. It costs 7,000 Simoleons to produce an OMEGA Material. Once started it can take between 30 minutes and 8 hours to produce an OMEGA Material.
There are 3 possible OMEGA Material sizes.

OMEGA Research Center[]
The OMEGA Research Center is where you can convert OMEGA Material into OMEGA and Regular items. The time it takes to process OMEGA Material is listed in the table above.
Storage[]
OMEGA Storage Icon
OMEGA Storage is where your OMEGA Items are stored. It is separate from your City Storage. It is unlocked at level 30 after building the OMEGA Research Center. After building an OMEGA Lab you can also build the OMEGA Storage building which will give you an additional 5 storage.
Upgrading[]
The OMEGA Storage starts at a capacity of 10 and increases to 15 once the OMEGA Storage is built. It can be upgraded up to a maximum capacity of 245. Each upgrade will require OMEGA Items. See this chart here showing the number of required items to upgrade your OMEGA Storage.
NeoMall[]
You can also purchase OMEGA items from the NeoMall. During each NeoMall refresh there will be 2 OMEGA items available for purchase.
OMEGA Zones[]
OMEGA zones are residential zones unlocked at level 30 that require OMEGA items to upgrade to the next tier. When built, they will produce NeoSimoleons.
OMEGA Events[]
Future Cities Event[]
During this event, the Omega Research Center and Neo Mall timers are 50% faster; NeoSimoleon and SimCash prices for OMEGA items in the NeoMall are reduced.
