Rail Simoleons are a special currency related to trains. They can be acquired by dispatching trains or purchasing them in the Railway Shop for real money. Rail Simoleons are stored in a player's Rail Simoleon Wallet. The Rail Simoleon Wallet has an initial capacity of 6,000. The capacity can be expanded either by using Rail Tokens or SimCash. Rail Simoleons can be used to buy train, commercial and special items out of the Railway Shop. They are also used to upgrade passenger trains.
