Railway Shop

The Railway Shop is a feature that was fully released with Trains in December 2023. You can access it by, first, tapping on your Railway Station. Then, in the top right corner, tap on the shopping bag symbol (). This will take you to the Railway Shop. In the Railway Shop, players can purchased items using Rail Simoleons, SimCash and real money. The Railway Shop has a limited supply and the cost of items increase with each purchase.

There are currently two versions of this shop. It reportedly has been available to select people as early as February 26, 2024. We will called the first - version A and the second - version B. Shop version A and B are made up of 19 and 24 individual blocks, respectively, with an item for sale in each block. It is further broke down into 4 colored sections. The first section is building materials and it covers 8 blocks. Four blocks for Train items and four blocks for Commercial items. Train items are always available in the shop though they may not always be in the same order. The second section is special items and it covers four (4) blocks. The first three (3) are random while the last is always a Rail Token. The third section is Train Cards. Version A of the shop covers four (4) blocks while Version B covers 6 blocks. The first block is always free while the last three (3) can be purchased for SimCash. In Version B of the shop, there are 2 extra blocks where Train Cards can be purchased for rail simoleons. The fourth section contains Rail Simoleons for real money. Version A has 3 blocks while Version B has 6 blocks. The railway shop resets every day at 12A Central Standard Time. After the reset, new items will appear, items revert to their initial cost, and the purchased number counters go back to zero (0).

In the Railway Shop, in the top right corner, you can also view, access and manage your City Storage, Rail Simoleon Wallet and SimCash.

In Version A of the railway shop, four (4) random Train Cards appear every 24 hours. In Version B, six (6) random Train Cards appear every 24 hours. They may be purchased from the shop using Rail Simoleons or SimCash. One random Train Card is FREE every day (which may or may not be one that is available that day for purchase).
