Special Deliveries is a method to earn Special Items. It is unlocked after the mayor has built the Cargo Ship Dock. It can be accessed from the Cargo Ship Dock.
Basics[]
Special Deliveries is a destination in the Cargo Ship Dock. When a Special Delivery has arrived, a steamboat will be at the Cargo Ship Dock unless a regular Cargo Ship Delivery has already arrived. If both deliveries have arrived, the boat that arrived first will stay until the order is completed or it departs. Players can still complete the last delivery without completing the first delivery that arrived.
Once a Special Delivery order arrives, it will either stay up to 18 hours or whenever the order is completed, whichever comes first. It takes 6 hours to receive a new order but can be sped up for 10 SimCash.
Fulfilling Orders[]
Special Deliveries works similar to Cargo Ship Orders. 3 different items of varying quantities must be fulfilled to complete the order. Fulfilling an item will reward a Special Item.
Appearance[]
The actual date this method was made available in the game is unknown. Many received it after the Mayor's Pass 32: Iceland update in mid-July but a few mentioned having it in June. One player actually reported having a new cargo dock destination in January called "Special Deliveries" but it appeared to be a glitch since the Farm Deliveries icon was used, the order area was completely blank and a golden key was the reward instead of a Special Item. The players that reported having it in June had the same thing that many received with the Iceland update.
